Terms of Service

Reclaim connects to your Paystack account, using a secret key you provide, to identify failed transactions and send your customers a recovery SMS with a link to complete their payment. You are responsible for having the right to connect the Paystack account you provide, and for the accuracy of the company information you give us.

• You must provide accurate information when signing up, including your company name.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must be authorized to act on behalf of the business you're signing up.
• You're responsible for all activity that happens through your account.

You agree that you will not use Reclaim to:

• Send messages to anyone who is not a customer with a genuine failed transaction on your connected Paystack account.
• Send marketing, promotional, or unsolicited messages of any kind — Reclaim is for transactional payment-recovery messages only.
• Connect a Paystack account you are not authorized to access.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Reclaim's systems.
• Use Reclaim in a way that violates Nigerian law or the rules of Paystack, Africa's Talking, or the mobile networks that carry these messages.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you've violated this section.

Reclaim's pricing is published on our pricing page. Depending on your plan, you may owe a flat monthly fee, a percentage of amounts we help recover, or both. Fees are billed in Naira. We'll give you notice before any pricing change takes effect for your account.

Reclaim helps recover failed payments but cannot guarantee that any specific payment will be recovered — recovery depends on your customer, their bank or mobile money provider, and factors outside our control. Reclaim is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

Reclaim relies on third-party services — including Paystack, Africa's Talking, Auth0, Supabase, and Vercel — to operate. We're not responsible for outages, errors, or changes made by these providers that affect Reclaim's availability or performance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reclaim and BuildNest Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Reclaim, including lost revenue or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Reclaim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

You can stop using Reclaim and disconnect your Paystack account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law. On termination, we'll handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms as Reclaim changes. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and continued use of Reclaim after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
